Ministry
Ministry photography focuses on capturing and documenting fellowship, service, outreach, and important moments in the ministry. This type of photography has different roles within the ministry such as communication and event coverage. A photographer will highlight services and special events such as baptisms, celebrations, and holidays. The ministry will be able to use the images to communicate and share awareness to the community about the ministry. This will assure the viewer of what they will see when they arrive. Not only does photography spread awareness of the church, but it preserves memories by capturing events and people for the church and church members. Photography is a very important tool to be used in ministry.
PATRIOTIC
SERVICE
FaitFaith Baptist Church in Layton, Utah had a special church service called Patriotic Service. As it was an election year, the church invited multiple elected public representatives to a church service. The representatives had the opportunity to share what their role is in the state. Many heard the Gospel of Christ preached!
JUNIOR CHURCH
THE CHALLENGE
Every year, the youth ministry and the college and career ministry compete in multiple competitions called The Challenge. The Challenge begins with a meal after the morning service. Participants eat to fuel themselves, and attendees eat to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Each team participates in three different competitions: volleyball, human foosball, and basketball. After the competitions are completed, one team will be awarded “The Challenge” trophy. For the remainder of the year, the team has bragging rights until the next Challenge.
